I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – Venice is one of the most photogenic cities I’ve ever visited. Every narrow cobbled alley you explore, every canal you wander past, every colourful little building; everywhere you turn there is another beautiful sight to stumble across.
Even the rooftops are just as colourful as the buildings, which is why I loved the view from the top of San Marco Campanile.
Looking out across the city from the top of Venice’s bell tower, we took in the stunning view of Saint Mark’s Basilica and the angular orange rooftops that reach as far as the water. One of the Basilica’s spires may have been decked out with scaffolding but that still didn’t stop the view from being a picture perfect one.
