Camel safari on the sand dunes at sunset Rajasthan India

Weekly Photo Challenge: Yellow

Our Christmas this year is extremely different to last year.

This year has already been filled with fun festivities, ice skating, Christmas markets, family and friends; the type of Christmas that we’re used to at home.  Whereas last year there was much less of a festive atmosphere.  We had hot sunshine instead of the bitter cold, curry instead of roast dinner, camels instead of reindeer.

On Christmas Eve last year we were riding a camel through the yellow-orange sand of the Rajasthan desert without a care in the world for last minute shopping and the wrapping of presents.  Although India was an incredible trip, I am so glad we’re at home this year for the usual Christmas that I love.

You can read all about our Indian Christmas here!

Wherever you are in the world I hope you have a fantastic Christmas! 😀

It was a great way to spend Christmas experiencing something completely different to normal but I wouldn’t do it again! Had a great Christmas this year and hope you have too 🙂

Wow, can’t believe that’s India – when I first saw it, I assumed it must be Namibia! Lovely pic 🙂
